Plug your SD card into your computer and start flashing. Unless you already have a program you use to flash Raspberry Pi images, trust us. It's available for Windows, Mac or Linux and it's dead simple to use. The best and easiest way is to download Etcher. You need to do this the right way so your Raspberry Pi can read it from the card and boot up. Now you need a program to flash RetroPie to the SD card. If you bought a different one, you'll find the version printed in white ink right on the top of the circuit board. If you bought the CanaKit, you have a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ so download the image for the 3. Make sure you pick the right file for your Raspberry Pi. On the Downloads page, you'll find a button to download RetroPie for the Raspberry Pi 0 or 1, and a download button for the Raspberry Pi 2 or 3.
